First day was a little windy!
We left a little before 9AM. The wind was blowing about 15K at the dock. As we went north in the Swinomish Channel the wind increased to 20K from the south. The pennant on the bow pointed forward. The boat handled the wind with no problems. The highest winds we saw was 30K. The boat ran perfectly for the 4 1/2 hour trip. The wind in Reid Harbor was only 5K and anchoring was quick and easy. It’s 7:45PM now and there is no wind. We will be off about 7AM tomorrow for Bedwell Harbour to clear customs and cross the Straits of Georgia ending the day at Pender Harbour.
