We finally made it to Prideaux Haven
This morning we left Cortes Bay and traveled about 12 nautical miles to Prideaux Haven. It was a beautiful trip with blue skies, puffy white clouds and snow covered mountains. We are anchored in about 50 feet of water in the middle of the bay. There are 10 boats that I can see from our boat. The wind has picked up this afternoon and is 15K. This makes us swing back and forth offering up new views without having to get up off the bench in the pilothouse.
We will stay here until Friday and then head over the Campbell River for a major reprovisioning. We will stay there for 2 days and then head back to Cortes Bay to wait for the arrival of the kids on July 10th. The good news is that there is good cellphone coverage here, so we can use our phones as hotspots and have internet access. We also have satellite TV to keep us informed.
